Greetings and Welcome from George and Dianne Levy…. You have arrived at the web site of the business known as Ski Shores Waterfront Café… Ski Shores Waterfront Café as of December 31st 2009 has officially closed its doors. For the past thirteen years, through financial investment and hard work, we were happy to have molded, shaped, and created the image that Ski Shores Waterfront Café was so highly regarded for. We wish to thank all our employees and customers for their continuous dedication over the years. It is fact that during our ownership of the business and as lessee of the property one finds both the Austin Chronicle and John Kelso of the Austin American-Statesman choosing the business known as Ski Shores Waterfront Café as one of the few icons of Austin eatery establishments. Furthermore, well-known artist Mary Doerr, of Images of Austin, paid tribute to the business by memorializing it on canvas, and famed radio commentator Cactus Pryor does the same in his medium. There are others including well known food critic, Dr. Rob Balon, who have recognized the achievements of our efforts. The Levy family took great pride, and pleasure in offering more than just a hamburger, but a safe place where a family could enjoy themselves. Coming soon, we will be providing a thirteen (13) year pictorial history of Ski Shores Waterfront Café, which will be available on this website.> |
