are comparable with similiar establishments in Austin.
Our valued guests get to spend time at one of Austins' legendary
establishments.
All the while, being served fresh and delicious food.
The fine staff and management of Ski Shores ask that you respect our establishment.
Like any other, and not bring outside food or beverage onto the property.
And if you do, please do not be offended when we ask that you abide by
our rules.
* No Public Access to Lake *
Please do not impose your recreational expenses upon others.
The grounds of Ski Shores are not to be used as public access to Lake Austin.
Less than three miles by car, City Park has parking spaces
and plenty of docks for you to be picked up.
For a minor fee I think it is 3-8 dollars depending on the day,
one could avoid imposing upon others.
Your dollars go to a very worthy cause!
Ski Shores Waterfront Cafe would love for everyone to eat at the cafe,
go out on a boat and enjoy beautiful Lake
Austin.
Truth is Ski Shores
Waterfront Cafe's parking spaces are limited.
There are a whole
lot of people in and around Austin proper
and if they all came down expecting to leave their cars to go out on the
lake
there would be literally no room for
Ski Shores Customers.
This has been a
very serious issue in the past and only continues to get worse.
Please, we have refrained in the
past but this year it will be policy to "tow cars".
using the parking lot for public access to the lake.
The prices of our food and drink do "not" include access to Lake Austin.
* All Dogs, Cats, and
all other pets *
All animals
must be on a leash
Ski Shores encourages pet
owners to bring their pets but with opportunity comes responsibility.
Once again,
and I can't say it enough all animals must be on a leash.
All pet owners
are responsible for cleaning after their pets.
The grassy areas
are for the children to run, not for pets to use as an outdoor restroom
facility.
If pet owners
don't bring the necessary (gloves and plastic bags) they will be available
upon request. Kids roam freely at Ski Shores, making land mines an ugly
and unnecessary experience
* Trash from boats
and cars *
Ski Shores is not
subsidized by the state or local jurisdictions.
Up river less than
three miles is City Park.
At City Park there are two big trash bins that your tax dollars pay for.
Please, feel free to use them.
Ski Shores generates enough trash of its own and our Trash Bins hold
only so much.
No "just getting
rid of this trash" will be allowed.
It will be
Ski Shores Policy to inform one of this rule the first infraction, but after
that,
Ski Shores Waterfront Cafe will reserve the right to refuse your
trash.
